About Us

HFBC is a full service IT staffing and staff augmentation firm founded in 2006 by veteran staffing professional, Chet Bloom. Chet began HFBC with the goal of providing his clients with the highest quality IT candidates and the highest degree of professionalism.

With a degree in business and finance from Adelphi University, Chet began his career working for Newton Solutions, a start-up staffing company where he was an Account Executive and IT Recruiter. Soon after, he joined Carlyle Consulting Services, one of the tri-state areas largest IT consulting firms. At Carlyle, he became the IT Manager for New York and New Jersey, as well as one of the company's highest producing managers. He then moved to a larger more established staffing company to start their IT division. In this position, he hired and trained recruiters and sales people and helped to triple the company's sales within 8 months. Looking for a new challenge, Chet founded HFBC.

Widely regarded as a staffing industry expert, Chet is frequently quoted in industry journals including Staffing Industry, Staffing Digest, ComputerWorld, Purple Squirrel and many others.
